✅ The large LED display with back-lit makes viewing the results a snap. Alarm function allows you to keep close watch of your own SpO2 and PR levels by producing an audible alert if levels dip below a specified point.

In addition to measuring your SpO2 (Blood oxygen saturation level) value and pulse rate accurately and reliably, the deluxe version has many other helpful features like the plesthymograph and alarm.

👉🏼 Plethysmograph Waveform

The plethysmograph provides a visual representation of your heartbeat and the amount of blood flowing through your blood vessels. Helps determine the optimal time to take a reading.

✅ High accurate infrared sensor and ergonomic design to hold your finger correctly and comfortably to yield reliable readings. Constructed with a high quality medical grade silicone finger chamber that is hypoallergenic and latex free.

2020 Model Updates:

  • Upgraded internal hardware and software components
  • Large OLED display easily visible in day or night
  • Auditory Beeps for every detected pulse.

👉🏼 Sound / Alarm

Auditory alarm to warn you when your SpO2 and Pulse Rate are beyond set limits.

👉🏼 Adjustable OLED Brightness

Press and hold the pulse oximeter's power button to adjust the brightness levels of the OLED screen.

👉🏼 Infrared Shield

High quality ABS Plastic shields the pulse oximeter from the environment to ensure accurate readings.

👉🏼 How does the plethysmograph work?

Each wave (see image) corresponds to a heart beat and the wave amplitude corresponds to the amount of blood detected. If the wave amplitude is low, this means that your blood perfusion is too low for a reliable read. You should retake your measurement and make sure that your finger is positioned right under the LED lights.

What is a pulse oximeter and how is it being used during the СОVID-19 pаndemiс?

According to the American Lung Association, a pulse oximeter is an electronic device that measures the saturation of oxygen carried in your red blood cells. It can be used by doctors for patients with symptoms of shortness of breath or a known lung or heart condition.

The ALA said pulse oximeters can be attached to your fingers, forehead, nose, foot, ears or toes.
Bravo TV host Andy Cohen, who tested positive for the coronavirus, said the small device helped in his recovery.

According to a report by Yahoo!, Cohen said using a pulse oximeter to monitor his oxygen at home helped keep him from needing to head to the hospital.

You could scare yourself and think, ‘Oh my God, my lungs don’t feel right,’ but you could use this pulse oximeter and see, ‘OK, well actually, you’re fine, you’re within the range,’” he said.

“So that’s my pro-tip,” Cohen said, according to the Yahoo! article. “Make sure you have Tylenol and a pulse oximeter.

According to a report by HealthLeaders, officials at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Washington State, which admitted the first U.S. COVID-19 patient, are sending patients who are likely positive for COVID-19 but not admitted to the hospital home with a thermometer and pulse oximeter to monitor their symptoms.

➡️ Oxygen levels

Your oxygen level refers to the amount of oxygen in your blood. When that number drops below normal levels, it’s referred to as hypoxemia.

Normal arterial oxygen is approximately 75 to 100 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). Values under 60 mm Hg usually indicate the need for supplemental oxygen. ANSELF® Pulse Oximeter readings usually from 95 to 100 percent. Values under 90 percent are considered low.

➡️ What level of oxygen is dangerous?

An oxygen level below 88% can be dangerous for any period of time. An oxygen level below 85% warrants a trip to the hospital. Keep in mind that an oxygen level 80% and lower puts your vital organs in danger, so it is important to keep a blood oxygen level chart handy so you know what levels require immediate treatment.
